R&D, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Projects
We help companies structure research, experimental development (R&D), innovation and artificial intelligence projects so that they meet funders’ requirements and have a clear commercial perspective. We assess whether the activity meets R&D criteria, justify novelty and the technology readiness level, help find a research partner and prepare the application. You receive a clear project structure, an activity plan and a scientific and technical justification that evaluators will understand.

What we do and what you get
- Justifying the logic and novelty of R&D activities
- Assessing the technology readiness level (TRL)
- Structuring AI and digitalisation projects
- Analysis of risks and uncertainties
- Building partnerships with research and higher-education institutions
- Preparing applications for R&D and innovation instruments
How the process works
We assess how well the idea meets R&D criteria
We shape the project structure and activity plan
We prepare the application and the scientific and technical justification
We support the project through the evaluation and implementation stages
What to keep in mind
- Research and experimental development are funded differently. Research and experimental development often receive different support intensities, so the activities must be clearly separated.
- Uncertainty must be named. Evaluators check which technical or scientific question has no known solution today. A product that is merely new on the market is not yet R&D.
- Intellectual property. When working with a research partner, agree in advance who will own the results and how they will be used.
- Commercialisation plan. Funders increasingly assess not only development but also the path to market.
Examples of our experience
In 2024, for a construction company, we prepared an R&D project (developing a high-efficiency neutraliser of odour and heavy metal pollution, covering catalysis, adsorption, chemical oxidation and low-temperature plasma discharge processes). We carried out an R&D eligibility and TRL assessment, formed a partnership with a research institution and prepared the application under the InoBranda measure.
In 2024, for an IT company, we prepared an R&D project (developing a remote teledermatology system for identifying skin allergens). We carried out an R&D eligibility and TRL assessment, formed a partnership with a research institution and prepared the application under the InoBranda measure.
What affects duration and price
The duration and price depend on the instrument, the technological complexity of the project, whether a research partner has to be found, how well the scientific and technical description is prepared and the scope of the application. We provide exact terms after an initial assessment.
